How to remove a member or change their role

Permission: Owner or Manager

Switch a member's role, update their teams, remove them safely, or resend a pending invite.

Changing a member's role

  1. Click “Change Role” on the member card.
  2. A confirmation dialog shows the current and new role.
  3. Click “Yes, change it”.

(The system toggles between “Manager” and “Team Member”.)

Managing the member's teams

  1. Click “Teams” on the member card.
  2. A panel opens with every company team as checkboxes.
  3. Tick or untick the teams the member should belong to.
  4. Click “Save Teams”.

Removing an active member

  1. Click “Delete” on the member card.
  2. A confirmation appears with an optional checkbox: “Unassign incomplete tasks”.
  3. Click “Yes, remove them”.

Handling pending invitations

  • “Resend” — sends the invitation email again.
  • “Cancel Invitation” — revokes the invite before it's accepted.
