Move your ClickUp tasks into Fareeqy
Export from settings rather than from a view, upload, and read the preview. Comments and checklists come with you.
Importing is available on paid plans and during the free trial, 14 days with no credit card
ClickUp gives you everything: custom fields, automations, endless views. Then comes the day half the team stops updating their task status because the screen grew larger than the work.
Moving out of it starts with one question: where you export from. A single-view export carries only the columns visible in that view, while a workspace export from settings carries comments and checklists in full. We tell you that before you export, not after.
The result? Your tasks move, and each one has a single owner, a single deadline and a single priority, with no settings screen to learn first.
What becomes what
Fareeqy has three levels and no fourth: project, task list, task.
| ClickUp | Fareeqy |
|---|---|
| Space | Project |
| List | Task list |
| Task | Task |
How to export from ClickUp
The whole workspace
From workspace settings, available to its owner:
Settings → Import/Export → Tasks
The file arrives by email. This export is the one that carries comments and checklists in full.
One list or view
From the view menu at the top of the screen:
... → Download CSV
It exports only the columns visible in the view, so show name, status, assignee and date before exporting.
Accepted formats: CSV, Excel, or ZIP. You can upload several files together in one go.
What comes across, and what does not
Comes across
- Tasks with their names and descriptions
- Due dates and completion state
- Assignees, and the preview asks you who each one is on your team
- Comments and checklists, from the workspace export
Does not come across
- Files you uploaded inside the tool itself. Their bytes are not in the export at all, and fetching them would need your credentials for that account. Links do come across, inside the task's notes.
- Custom fields, automations and dashboards, which have no counterpart in Fareeqy.
Before you start
A single-view export carries only the columns visible in that view. If you want comments and checklists, export the whole workspace from settings instead.
How the import runs
Nothing is written until you approve it
Upload the file and we read it, then show you exactly what would be created: how many projects, task lists and tasks, every title we would have to rename, and every person on your board. Only the confirm button creates data.
Duplicate titles are settled in front of you
Your board has three cards called Follow up, and the board's own name may already belong to a project you made last year. We rename, and every rename is on screen before you confirm, not after.
Upload the same export again safely
Re-exported after another week of work? Upload it again. What you imported before keeps your edits, and only what is new is added. This is a migration tool, not a two-way sync, so an import never overwrites what you changed inside Fareeqy.
The file stays yours
Delete it from the import page whenever you want. Forget about it and we delete it automatically after 30 days.
Frequently asked questions
Should I export from the view or from settings?
From settings when you can. A workspace export carries comments and checklists in full, while a single-view export carries only the columns visible at that moment.
What becomes a task list?
The List, by default. You can pick a different grouping on the upload screen, and change it from the preview before anything is written.
Do custom fields come across?
They have no counterpart in Fareeqy, but they do not vanish silently: what can be kept is written as a line at the top of the task's notes, and the preview names everything we had to flatten.
