Move your ClickUp tasks into Fareeqy

The importer does not reject a ClickUp task created directly inside a Space or a View export that lacks the Space column. It follows the hierarchy available in the file: Folder is used when present, then List, and finally the worksheet or file name when none of those fields can name the project. The column chosen for task-list grouping is excluded from project naming, preventing a pile of projects that each contain only one list.

This fallback exists because ClickUp exports are not identical. A workspace Tasks export can include Space Name, Folder Name, and List Name, while a CSV downloaded from one View may begin at List and know nothing about the levels above. A task created directly inside a Space has no Folder by design. Rejecting an empty cell would turn valid ClickUp shapes into file errors, so the importer takes the highest available name that is not already serving as the grouping.

Task state does not depend on those hierarchy fields being complete. The importer looks for Date Done or Date Closed in the text and numeric forms ClickUp writes, using an explicit time whenever available. If neither exists, a recognized Status name can still determine completion. Archived work remains excluded by default unless you request archived items. A missing Space therefore cannot reopen finished work or return an archived task merely because project naming needed a fallback.

After naming the project, you can still group task lists by List, Status, Folder, Assignee, or Priority. The preview exposes the result before writing, letting you notice when a filename is broader or narrower than intended and return to a better grouping. On a later export, Task ID helps recognize work that already arrived, so new tasks enter the existing project without overwriting edits your team made inside Fareeqy.

No. In Fareeqy, priority is a task's place in its list, not a level carried over from another tool. So the importer keeps the original Priority value in a named line in the task notes, where you can read and review it after the move. If you select Priority as the grouping on the upload screen, those values also name the task lists. The meaning remains visible without an automatic conversion that could rank the work differently from your team's intent.

The reader ignores the literal null value some ClickUp exports write instead of an empty cell, preventing technical noise from appearing in your notes. Priority follows the original Task Content under its own heading, beside Tags and Checklists when present. Every checklist item retains its checked or unchecked marker. Even an unexpected checklist JSON shape remains as readable raw text instead of causing the entire task to disappear.

Grouping by Priority still creates no new field. Each available value becomes a task-list title, while work with no value enters a clearly named ungrouped list. After confirmation, you order the tasks inside their list, and whatever you move to the top is what the team sees first. Custom fields, automations, Dashboards, and time tracking are not extensions of that value and do not become matching settings during migration, so review any information you must retain before closing the ClickUp workspace.
