How to chat with a teammate or team in Fareeqy

Permission: Owner, Manager, or Team Member

Fareeqy Conversations centralize your instant chat instead of scattering it across third-party apps.

  1. From the “Navbar” dropdown menu, pick “Messages”.
  2. The conversations page opens with filters: “All”, “Unread”, “Direct messages”, “Group”, “Projects”, and “Archived”.
  3. To start a new conversation, click “New Conversation”.
  4. Pick participants from the company members list — one for a direct chat, more for a group.
  5. If you picked two or more members, give the group a meaningful title.
  6. Click “Start Conversation”.

Inside a conversation

  • Type your message in the bottom input.
  • Attach a file by clicking the paperclip icon.
  • Mention someone with @ and pick from the popup.
  • Press Enter to send.

Note: Group conversations are part of the Pro plan. On the free plan, you'll see an upgrade prompt when you try to start a group chat.
