How to create a ready task list (template) for your team

Save your recurring task lists once from Company Settings, or turn an existing task list into a template in one click — to reuse on any project.

A ready task list is a company-level template you later apply to create a new task list — with all its tasks — in any project. There are two ways to create one.

Method 1: from Company Settings

  1. Open “Company Settings”, then the “Ready Task Lists” section.
  2. Click the “New Ready List” button.
  3. Type the list name — for example: “New Employee Onboarding”.
  4. Add the list's tasks one by one.
  5. Reorder the tasks by drag-and-drop until they're in the order you want.
  6. Click “Save”.

Tip: To edit a ready list later, just click it in the “Ready Task Lists” section — it opens for editing immediately, with no extra screens.

Method 2: save an existing task list as a template

  1. Open the project, then the task list whose structure you liked.
  2. From the task list options, pick “Save as ready list”.
  3. Confirm the name, then save — the list is added to your company templates, ready to reuse.

Note: On the Free plan you can create up to 3 ready lists. For unlimited lists, upgrade to Pro. Managing ready lists (create, edit, delete) is available to managers and company owners.
