Move your Trello boards into Fareeqy

Export, upload, read the preview, confirm. Your boards, their cards and their comments arrive as you left them.

Importing is available on paid plans and during the free trial, 14 days with no credit card

You spent months building your Trello boards, and moving to another tool means rebuilding them card by card. That alone is enough to keep a team where it is.

A Trello export carries the whole board: lists, cards, descriptions, dates, comments, checklists. We read the file and show you exactly what would be created before anything is, you review it, then you confirm.

The result? Your boards become Fareeqy projects in minutes, with no copying and pasting.

What becomes what

Fareeqy has three levels and no fourth: project, task list, task.

How to export from Trello

  1. A single board

Open the board in Trello, then from its menu:

Print and export → Export as JSON

One JSON file downloads. Repeat it per board, then add them all in a single upload.

  2. A whole workspace

    From your Trello workspace settings:

    Settings → Export

Available on paid Trello plans. If you do not see it, export your boards one by one as above.

Accepted formats: JSON, or ZIP. You can upload several files together in one go.

What comes across, and what does not

Comes across

  • Cards with their names and descriptions
  • Due dates and completion state
  • Board members, and the preview asks you who each one is on your team
  • Comments, with their original author and timestamp
  • Checklists, as a list inside the task's notes
  • Labels and priority, as a line at the top of the notes

Does not come across

  • Files you uploaded inside the tool itself. Their bytes are not in the export at all, and fetching them would need your credentials for that account. Links do come across, inside the task's notes.
  • Power-Ups and Butler automations, which have no counterpart in Fareeqy.

How the import runs

Nothing is written until you approve it

Upload the file and we read it, then show you exactly what would be created: how many projects, task lists and tasks, every title we would have to rename, and every person on your board. Only the confirm button creates data.

Duplicate titles are settled in front of you

Your board has three cards called Follow up, and the board's own name may already belong to a project you made last year. We rename, and every rename is on screen before you confirm, not after.

Upload the same export again safely

Re-exported after another week of work? Upload it again. What you imported before keeps your edits, and only what is new is added. This is a migration tool, not a two-way sync, so an import never overwrites what you changed inside Fareeqy.

The file stays yours

Delete it from the import page whenever you want. Forget about it and we delete it automatically after 30 days.

Frequently asked questions

Do Trello comments come across?

Yes, with their original author and timestamp. If a commenter is not on your Fareeqy team, the comment is attributed to whoever ran the import.

I have ten boards. Do I upload them one at a time?

No. Export each board from Trello, then add all the files in a single upload, or zip them and upload the archive. Each board becomes its own project.

What happens to two cards with the same name?

We rename the second one and show you the full list of what we changed before the confirm button. An import that silently renamed thirty titles is indistinguishable afterwards from one that renamed nothing.
