Time Tracking.. Know Exactly Where Your Team's Hours Went

Record how long each task took in one field, right where the task already is, with no timer and no timesheet. Then read your team's hours in your reports: where the time went, and how many tasks carry a number at all

A client asks how long the work you delivered actually took, or you are pricing a new project and need a number to build on. The team worked for a month and closed task after task.. but when you ask "how long did this one take?", all you have is a guess.

In Fareeqy, every task carries one field for the time it took. You type the duration the way you say it: 1:30 for an hour and a half, 1.5 in decimal, or 90 in minutes. All three are accepted and displayed in one consistent format, saved in place with no Save button and no second screen.

Fareeqy never asks you to start a timer or open a separate timesheet. You record the time wherever the task already is: on its page, in its row inside a task list, on its card on the home page, in My Tasks, on the project board, and on your personal tasks too. That difference is why the field gets filled at all, because anything that costs extra steps never gets logged.

Correcting a number is part of the design. Type a new figure and it replaces the old one, while the change stays written in the task log: who changed it, and from what to what. A task nobody measured keeps no number at all, because "nobody measured this" and "this took no time" are two different statements.

Fareeqy then gathers what your team recorded into your reports. You read the total time recorded in the period together with its coverage: how many tasks carry a number out of how many, and the average per measured task. A small total can no longer mislead you when the real cause is that nobody logged anything. Charts show where the time went: by task, by member, by project, and how many hours were recorded on each day. All of it across company, project, department, team, and member reports.

What you record leaves with you: in every CSV and Excel export, and in the scheduled reports that arrive in your inbox. You can also ask Fareeqy Assistant to log the time for a task in one sentence, and it shows you the card to review the number before anything is saved. Time tracking is available on the Advanced, Productive, and Enterprise plans, and the company owner can turn it off for the whole company in Company Settings.

The result? You stop estimating time from memory. You know how long each task took, where your team's hours actually go, and you price the next project on hours people recorded themselves instead of on an impression.

How Does Time Tracking Work?

Type It The Way You Say It

1:30 for hours and minutes, 1.5 in decimal, or 90 in minutes. All three are accepted and shown in one consistent format.

From The Task Itself

On the task page, in its row inside a task list, on its card on the home page, in My Tasks, on the project board, and on your personal tasks.

Every Edit Is Written Down

A new figure replaces the old one, and the task log keeps who changed it and from what to what, so no number moves without a trace.

A Total That Cannot Mislead

Every total arrives with its coverage: how many tasks carry a number out of how many, plus the average per measured task.

It Leaves With You

Recorded time appears in company, project, department, team, and member reports, in every export, and in scheduled email reports.

Ask Fareeqy Assistant

Tell it how long the task took and it logs the time, showing you the card to review and correct the number before it saves.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is time tracking in Fareeqy?
One field on every task where you type how long it took. The field appears wherever the task appears, saves instantly, and what the team records is totalled in your reports and included in every export.
Does Fareeqy run a timer to measure the time?
No. There is no background timer and no separate timesheet. You type the duration yourself when the work is done, because anything that costs extra steps never gets logged, and a number the person doing the work writes is more accurate than a counter left running.
What format should I use for the time?
Whichever you are used to: 1:30 for hours and minutes, 1.5 in decimal, or 90 in minutes. Fareeqy accepts all three and displays one consistent format. Clearing the field returns the task to unmeasured.
Where do I see my team's hours after they are recorded?
In company, project, department, team, and member reports. You get the total time recorded in the period, how many tasks carry a number out of how many, the average per task, and charts by task, by member, by project, and per day.
Can I see how many hours each team member worked?
Yes. A member report totals the time spent on that person's tasks across the period you choose, along with how many of those tasks carry a number and the average per measured task. The same breakdown appears in team, department, project, and company reports, so you compare where the hours went instead of asking each person.
Can I export recorded time?
Yes. Recorded time is included in every CSV and Excel report export, along with how many tasks carry a number and the average per measured task, and it reaches you in scheduled email reports.
Which plans include time tracking?
The Advanced, Productive, and Enterprise plans. The company owner can also turn the feature off for the whole company in Company Settings, which removes the field from every task while the recorded numbers stay saved as they are.
