How to create a task list and add tasks inside it

Permission: Owner, Manager, or Team Member

Work in Fareeqy is split into lists that group related tasks — and every task gets a clear owner and deadline.

Creating a new task list

  1. Open the project you want to work in.
  2. At the top of the page, click the “+ New Task List” button.
  3. Type a “Task List Name” — for example: “Phase 1 — Design”.
  4. Optionally add “Extra details” (the editor supports rich formatting).
  5. Click “Create Task List”.

Adding a task inside the list

  1. Open the task list (automatically after creating it, or from the project page).
  2. Type the task name in the “New Task” field.
  3. Pick an “Assignee” from the project members list (optional).
  4. Pick a “Due Date” from the date picker (optional).
  5. Add “Notes” with formatting and attachments (optional).
  6. Press Enter or click “Add Task”.
