How to subscribe to your Fareeqy calendar via iCal in Apple Calendar and Outlook

Permission: Owner, Manager, or Team Member

One iCal link carries every deadline and meeting from Fareeqy into the calendar app you already use — and keeps it up to date automatically.

The calendar (iCal) link is a subscription URL that carries every deadline, meeting, and event from your Fareeqy calendar into any calendar app you use — Apple Calendar, Outlook, and others. You subscribe once, and your events appear in your usual calendar and refresh automatically whenever you add or change a date in Fareeqy, without opening Fareeqy.

Tip: If you use Google Calendar, the native integration is better than a manual subscription — it gives you two-way sync, Google Meet links, and attendee reminders. See How to connect and disconnect your Google Calendar with Fareeqy.

  1. From the account menu, click “Account Settings”.
  2. Switch to the “Calendar” tab.
  3. In the “Sync with your calendar” section, find the “Calendar URL” field.
  4. Click the “Copy” button to copy the link — you'll need it in the steps below.

Subscribe in Apple Calendar

On a Mac:

  1. Open the Calendar app, then from the menu bar choose “File” → “New Calendar Subscription”.
  2. Paste the calendar link you copied, and click “Subscribe”.
  3. Set the name, calendar color, and auto-refresh interval if you like, then click “OK”.

On iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open “Settings”, go to “Calendar” settings, then “Accounts”.
  2. Tap “Add Account” → “Other” → “Add Subscribed Calendar”.
  3. Paste the calendar link into the “Server” field, then tap “Next” → “Save”.

Subscribe in Outlook

The easiest way is the “Add to Outlook” button next to the calendar link in the “Calendar” tab — click it, and Outlook opens and adds the calendar automatically. To add it manually in Outlook on the web:

  1. Open Outlook and go to “Calendar”.
  2. Click “Add calendar” → “Subscribe from web”.
  3. Paste the calendar link, give it a name and color, then click “Import”.

Subscribe in any other calendar app

Any calendar app that supports the iCal format accepts this link. Look in your app for an option named “Subscribe to calendar”, “Add from URL”, or similar, then paste the link. (In Google Calendar, for example: “Other calendars” → the “+” button → “From URL” — though we recommend Google users use the native integration instead.)

Note: The subscription is read-only: your Fareeqy events show up in your app, but you can't edit them there. To change a date, edit it inside Fareeqy and the change flows into your subscription automatically.

Note: Updates may not appear instantly. Calendar apps refresh subscriptions on their own schedule — sometimes within minutes, sometimes every few hours — which is normal for iCal subscriptions and outside Fareeqy's control.
