How to use the calendar and sync it with Google Calendar or Outlook
Fareeqy's calendar gathers every deadline and event in one place — and you can link it to your personal calendar.
Using the calendar inside Fareeqy
- From the “Navbar” dropdown menu, pick “Calendar”.
- At the top, view controls: “Daily”, “Weekly”, “Monthly”, and arrows to navigate.
- On the side: a mini calendar (toggle between Gregorian and Hijri) and an “Upcoming events” list.
- Events are auto-created from any task that has a deadline.
Syncing with Google Calendar or Outlook
- From the account menu, click “Account Settings”.
- Switch to the “Calendar” tab.
- Three sync methods appear in the “Sync with your calendar” section.
Method 1 — Google Calendar (native integration)
Connecting Fareeqy to Google Calendar now happens through a native one-click integration with two-way sync, Google Meet links, and attendee reminders. See How to connect and disconnect your Google Calendar with Fareeqy for full setup, disconnect, and revoke steps.
Method 2 — Outlook
Click “Add to Outlook” — Outlook opens and adds the calendar automatically.
Method 3 — iCal link (for any other app)
Copy the link from the “Calendar URL” field, then subscribe to it in your calendar app (Apple Calendar, for example) via “Subscribe to Calendar” or “Add from URL”. See How to subscribe to your Fareeqy calendar via iCal for detailed per-app steps.
Note: Updates may take a few minutes to show up in Google Calendar or Outlook.
