What you see when you lose connection

Instead of an error page, Fareeqy opens a day sheet saved on your device. A quiet line at the top says you are offline and shows when the copy you are reading was saved.

What appears on the page?

• A live ticking clock, today's full Gregorian date, and the Hijri date.
• The five prayer times, plus a sentence naming the next prayer and the time remaining. They are calculated on your device from your coordinates and timezone, then carried for a week. They stay hidden if you turned prayer times off.
• Your assigned open tasks, with the due date, project name or “Personal task,” and an overdue badge calculated against the day you read the page, not the day the copy was saved.
• Your meetings for the coming week, labelled today, tomorrow, or with the weekday and date, plus the time or “All day” and the meeting URL printed as text.
• A retry link that works even with JavaScript turned off. The page also returns on its own when the connection comes back.

How does your day reach the page?

Open Fareeqy on that device while you are online and signed in. Fareeqy saves a small copy of your day and refreshes it about every five minutes while you are connected and using it. The offline page reads that copy directly from the device without making a network request. There is no setting to enable and no plan requirement.

Note: If you have never opened Fareeqy while signed in on this device, there is no saved copy yet, and the page tells you so. A section can also be empty when you have no assigned open tasks or no meetings in the coming week. Prayer times are omitted if you turned them off.

What can you not do?

The day sheet is read-only. You cannot create, edit, or complete a task, add a comment, or upload a file. Nothing is placed in a queue to send later, so the page never suggests that a change was saved when it was not.

• A meeting URL is shown as non-clickable text because opening it offline would go nowhere. You can read or copy it for use when the connection returns.
• The task list may be shorter than My Tasks because the day sheet stores a compact list of your assigned open tasks. If that list reaches its cap, the page says it was shortened.

Who can see this copy?

The copy contains only your own work, using the same access checks as My Tasks, and only meetings you own or attend. It contains no name, avatar, or email address. It is erased when you sign out, when your session expires, or when a different person signs in on the same device.

Tip: Open Fareeqy while connected before a flight or before heading down to the site, and let it refresh your day. You will then have a newer copy to read if the connection drops.

The result? The essential details of your day remain available to read until the connection returns.
