How to delete a project

Permission: Owner or Manager

Deletion is final — you lose task lists, tasks, files, comments, and discussions with it. Be sure before you click.

Warning: Warning: deletion is final. You'll lose all task lists, tasks, files, comments, and discussions tied to this project.

  1. Open the project you want to delete.
  2. Click the options menu (the top button next to the project name).
  3. Click “Delete Project” (the red option).
  4. A confirmation dialog appears, showing the number of lists, tasks, and files about to be deleted.
  5. Click “Yes, delete the project” to confirm, or “Cancel” to back out.

You'll return to the projects page with a deletion confirmation message.
